But fans of classic Hideo Kojima gaming are already looking ahead to Physint, Kojima's own spiritual successor to his beloved Metal Gear franchise. Despite warnings that it's still "five or six years away" back in 2025—which puts it firmly in the realm of a PlayStation 6 title, to be sure—it's hard not to be excited about an even more seasoned Kojima trying his hand at "tactical espionage action" a full 15 or so years after he left Konami on a sour note with the great-to-play, story-unfinished, Metal Gear Solid 5.
