Borderlands 4 was supposed to launch on Nintendo Switch 2 last October. Its release was delayed with only a few days to go, and all pre-orders were canceled. However, it looks like at least one copy of the game made it off the factory line.
A Reddit user called Veloxplayer098 shared photos of a physical copy of Borderlands 4 for Switch 2 over the weekend. Apparently, they bought it on Vinted, and the seller claims they found the game at a flea market. All pretty strange, and maybe a little bit shady, but the limited evidence suggests the pictured game is the real deal.
The images include a look at the game's case along with its card, which is a game-key card. That's where the first problem arises. When inserted into their Switch 2, there's nothing to download. There's no way of finding out whether it was always a blank card or if there was really something to redeem, as the code has already been claimed by a previous owner.
The Switch 2 version of Borderlands 4 is sounding less and less like it will be the same as it is on other platforms.
