Metro 2039 Officially Announced, Full Reveal Coming Thursday | TechRaptor

Developer 4A Games and publisher Deep Silver have officially announced Metro 2039, the next game in the long-running Metro series of shooters, and more information will be revealed later this week.

As announced on the official Xbox Wire blog, Metro 2039 will be the subject of an Xbox First Look presentation on Thursday, in which we'll learn more about what the two studios have cooked up for this latest delve into the Moscow subway tunnels (assuming that's where the game is set, of course).

You'll be able to watch the show via Xbox's official YouTube channel, and it'll be available in a number of languages via the magic of subtitles. A recap will also be available immediately following the showcase.

Right now, we don't know a lot about Metro 2039, other than that it will presumably be set in the titular year, which would mean it takes place four years after the events of the previous entry in the series, 2019's Metro Exodus. Spoilers follow for that game's ending, so beware!
