The Indonesian video game ratings board has accidentally leaked massive story spoilers for IO Interactive's upcoming 007 First Light, and spoilers are floating around for other games as well, so make sure to be vigilant in the coming weeks.
As spotted by VGC, a critical security flaw was discovered within the Indonesian Game Rating System (IGRS) that led to privately-submitted footage being leaked to the public. The footage was originally sent to the board to aid in classification, it seems.
VGC says it's seen the leaks, and that they contain "over an hour of spoiler-filled footage" for 007 First Light, which is set to launch in late May on PC and current-gen consoles (except for Switch 2), having been delayed from its original March release date.
Other games hit by the leak include Bandai Namco's upcoming action RPG Echoes of Aincrad, which has also seemingly had significant story moments revealed by the IGRS snafu.
Footage from Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed: Black Flag remake and Konami's upcoming platformer Castlevania: Belmont's Curse was apparently also part of the leak, although VGC says it hasn't been able to spot that footage circulating online.
