Pragmata's Review Scores Among The Highest Of 2026

It's been almost six years since Capcom announced Pragmata. Thankfully, it seems like the wait for the studio's new, space-themed IP was worth it, as the reviews are in ahead of its release later this week, and they are incredibly strong.

Pragmata has an 87 on OpenCritic right now, making it one of the highest-rated games of 2026. Only six games have scored better on the review front so far this year, with Capcom's own Resident Evil Requiem one of those four after it settled on an ever so slightly more impressive 89.

Pragmata devs ensured its AI version of New York featured typical AI errors to make it feel a bit off.

Here at TheGamer, Jade King reviewed Pragmata, awarding it an almost-perfect 4.5/5. "It’s got big ambitions, a big heart, and two big and beautiful characters leading the charge on an intergalactic adventure like no other," King's review reads. You can check out the whole thing right here.
