As if there weren't already enough leaks related to Ubisoft's long-in-development remake of Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag, yet another major leak has broken through.
This time, as a result of seemingly a massive security flaw within the Indonesia Game Rating System (IGRS), Indonesia's equivalent to the ESRB or PEGI, gameplay details and descriptions for upcoming games that were submitted privately for ratings classification have leaked online, including one for the Black Flag Remake.
There, it's revealed that when the Black Flag Remake launches, it'll have new characters and stories.
"This title breathes new life into a fan favourite while remaining carefully faithful to the spirit of the original," the game's description reads. "It follows the story of charismatic pirate and Assassin Edward Kenway as he adventures through 18th Century Caribbean with parkours in cities, and battles at seas, in search of fortune and glory. Modernized in 2026, the new game includes a cast of new characters and stories."
