Cozy Open-World Adventure Outbound Delayed to Mid-May | TechRaptor

Cozy open-world indie adventure Outbound is being delayed, developer Square Glade Games has announced, but don't fret: you won't have to wait too much longer to explore this "utopian near-future".

Originally planned for release on April 23rd, Outbound will instead now be launching on May 14th, Square Glade revealed in a Steam post earlier today. The studio says it's identified "an issue" that could "negatively impact [players'] enjoyment of the game".

Since there was no way to guarantee a release on every platform Outbound is scheduled to hit given the new issue, Square Glade says it needed additional time to fix the problem and ensure "a more polished, bug-free experience" for the game's launch.

By way of a thank you for your patience, however, Square Glade says it'll now be keeping Outbound's free demo available until May 12th, so you'll have longer to check the game out if you're on the fence.
