Star Trek: Resurgence was a pretty damn decent Star Trek game. At least, that was my takeaway when I reviewed it back in 2023, giving it a 3/5. While the action left a lot to be desired, the story was great, making it both a good Star Trek game and a worthy successor to the Telltale formula.
However, just a little under three years after its launch, Star Trek: Resurgence is getting delisted. It has already been removed from Xbox, PlayStation, and Steam, and it sounds like it won't be on Switch for much longer.
"Our license to distribute Star Trek: Resurgence has come to an end, so the game will no longer be offered for sale," reads a post made on the Steam page yesterday. "Existing customers can continue to access the game via their Steam library. Thanks to everyone who was able to enjoy the game!"
We were given little to no warning that the game would be taken down. In fact, when I started writing this, it was still on Steam. Then, I hit refresh, and it was gone, so you'll have to act fast if you want to try and nab it on Switch.
