Ubisoft Has Reportedly Allowed Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown Devs To Reunite

Prince of Persia fans have had it pretty rough. Most recently, the long-awaited Sands of Time remake was completely scrapped, reportedly months before its official release, leaving many to believe that the series was pretty much dead and buried.

That was also off the back of a Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown sequel reportedly being rejected by Ubisoft, and the team behind the game disbanded to go and work on other titles within the company. When arguably the best Prince of Persia game in years has the developers behind it dissolved, and a remake of one of the best games gets canned, you can see why it would be doom and gloom.

However, there is a light at the end of every tunnel, and Prince of Persia fans now finally have some good news, courtesy of French journalist Gauthier "Gautoz" Andres. In a recent post on BlueSky, Andres claims that Ubisoft has now allowed the core team behind Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown to reunite, and also start pitching game ideas.
