Resident Evil Adult Mods YouTuber Temporarily Banned After Capcom Intervenes

NSFW mods for games aren't really a new thing. You'll find ones that make characters go nude, give them skimpy outfits, and even change their body proportions. Even newer games like Resident Evil Requiem aren't safe, as it took only four days for someone to put out a shirtless Leon mod.

While such mods have plenty of fans, it seems Capcom isn't taking too kindly to its characters being given the NSFW treatment in-game. The company reached out to YouTuber GrizzoUK and demanded that he stop uploading videos of “adult-oriented” Resident Evil Requiem mods. In fact, their channel was also temporarily banned, which he claims tanked their views.

As spotted by Kotaku, GrizzoUK published an hour-long video talking about how Capcom emailed him demanding that he delete 1,005 of his videos, which featured NSFW mod content for Resident Evil and Street Fighter.

Things got even worse from him, as he received a notification from YouTube, saying that his account had been terminated due to "repeated violations of our sex and nudity policy." However, it did get reinstated after they deleted the videos and appealed.
