Final Fantasy 14's Next FanFest Will Talk More About "The Future Of FFXIV"

Final Fantasy 14 has been undergoing a pretty immense period of change for a few years now, and based on how the story pretty much concluded in Endwalker, that's understandable. Yoshi-P has pretty routinely promised big changes coming in the future, as he juggles ways in which to make more content accessible to more players without diminishing what the game already has.

With the upcoming release of Patch 7.5, it makes sense that a lot of discussion right now revolves around the next expansion, whether we'll be getting a job rework, and exactly how the game might change and adapt going forward. We'll get answers at the next FanFest in the US later this month, but based on Yoshi-P's recent comments, it sounds as though we'll hear even more beyond that.

In a recent interview with Famitsu, Yoshi-P explained that he wants to create a different kind of atmosphere during the keynote talk at this month's FanFest, as he'll be diving into the future of Final Fantasy 14. He goes on to state that he thinks some people will even be surprised at what's announced, and think "You’re revealing this even before Patch 7.5 is released!?"
