One of the most iconic parts of any James Bond movie is the song that plays during the opening credits.
007 First Light, from Hitman developer IO Interactive, is no different and will pay homage, with award-winning artist Lana Del Ray slated to sing the game's title track. This confirms a rumor that popped up late last year.
It's being written by David Arnold, who has an extensive history with the Bond franchise. Arnold has scored our Bond films (The World Is Not Enough, Die Another Day, Casino Royale, and Quantum of Solace), as well as co-writing the main themes for The World Is Not Enough ("The World Is Not Enough" by Garbage) and Casino Royale ("You Know My Name" by Chris Cornell).
Arnold said that the upcoming track for 007 First Light will join "a long line of genre-defining songs." Arnold also talked about how excited he is to work with Lana Del Ray.
