Back when Arc Raiders first launched in October last year, it was an instant success, and became an absolute powerhouse of a live service game throughout the rest of 2025. It brought in hundreds of thousands of players on Steam alone, reaching a peak player count of 481,966 a month after launch, and kept the ship steady for a while, almost beating that record at the start of the year.
However, it hasn't been smooth sailing for Arc Raiders since then. First reported by Forbes, it appears as though the game has suffered a pretty remarkable drop off over the past few months, and has been losing players at a pretty alarming rate. It's now a game struggling to hit daily peaks of 100,000 players, and at the time of writing, the game is currently sitting at a 24-hour peak player count of 90,138.
