Bandai Namco Is Once Again Trying To Win Back Tekken 8 Fans

What started off a critical darling fit for reviving the fighting game franchise, Tekken 8 has since devolved into one of the most contentious titles in the Fighting Game Community (FGC). Between some of its DLC choices, as well as the many patches that have made the game "unplayable."

Even still, Bandai Namco has stood by Tekken 8, continually releasing patches and other updates to try and smooth things over. Now, the developer is once again back at it, with yet another major update that should appease fans. Or at least they hope so.

As first spotted by Push Square, Patch 3.00.02 is now out, marking the first major update since Season 3. In short, there's a ton of balance adjustments across the board that should make fans happy.

Seriously, just check the website out, and you'll see three pages worth of specific character updates.

Broadly, the patch notes state the following: "In Ver.3.00.02, we addressed unintended behaviors and made adjustments to Heat Dash combo starters and select Heat-related moves. For Heat-related moves, we focused on moves where the reward was disproportionately high relative to the difficulty of confirming hits and the associated risks."
