After its successful Early Access launch, Slay the Spire 2 is receiving its first major content update.
Meta Crit confirms that feedback and metrics from the game’s betatesters helped shape the full list of changes. They also remind everyone that “this is still an Early Access game, so just because something made it from the beta to main does not mean it’s set in stone. [Mega Crit] will continue to rely on the experiences of players across both branches (beta and Early Access) to eventually get the game into its final, ideal state, just like with Slay the Spire 1.”
The full list of changes is available on the Slay the Spire 2 Steam page, but Meta Crit has called out some of the more major changes:
There’s also a brand new card coming to the game, and it includes a first for the series.
Not Yet is the first time we’ve seen a card in Slay the Spire provide an outright heal. Technically, the card Feed (deal 10 damage, if Fatal, raise your Max HP by 3, Exhaust) also healed, but you had to jump through some hoops to make that happen. Not Yet is an unconditional heal.
