In the end, the rumors were true: Lana Del Rey is the artist behind 007 First Light's theme song. Naturally, it's called "First Light," and it follows a longstanding trend in the world of James Bond: major award-winning singers lending their vocal chops for the title theme.

That's not the only tradition that is continuing with 007 First Light, which is set for a May 27 release. As revealed by IO Interactive on Friday, 007 First Light will also have a title sequence, with "First Light" serving as the backdrop for a James Bond-centric animation.

It's three minutes long, and, if we can be honest for a second, it's pretty epic. Del Rey has always wanted to do a Bond song, and "24" from her album "Honeymoon" was intended to be used for Spectre, the fourth Daniel Craig-led James Bond movie.
