Crimson Desert's Next Update Is A Big One, But Pearl Abyss Is Taking Its Time To Get It Right

Crimson Desert's next update looks like it's going to be a big one, so much so that Pearl Abyss has missed its usual weekly drop to make sure the beefy patch is as polished as possible.

Although the reception to Crimson Desert has proven to be just as divisive as you'd expect from a game trying to do a million things at once, you have to give Pearl Abyss credit. Ever since launch, Crimson Desert has been updated nearly every week to add new features, tweak mechanics, and generally respond to some of the game's biggest issues.

Pretty much every patch for Crimson Desert so far has made noticeable improvements, and it looks like the next update (which was detailed in a recent Dev Update post) is going to be one of the biggest yet. It's so big, in fact, that Pearl Abyss has decided to miss its expected weekly drop to take its time and polish it up.
