Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3 Officially Revealed for 2027 | TechRaptor

Bandai Namco has officially announced Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3, which will bring an action RPG experience in a brand new setting when it arrives on PC and consoles in 2027.

The game was unveiled during the Dragon Ball Games Battle Hour event, which is, as Bandai Namco says, "the marquee event for Dragon Ball fans all over the world". It'll launch on PC, PS5, and Xbox next year (sadly, there's no mention of Switch 2, at least not yet).

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3 will take place in West City in "a new setting called Age 1000", which means this is the project Bandai Namco was teasing back in January. All-new artwork by the sadly-departed Akira Toriyama will also feature in the game.

Exactly how much this Age 1000 shares in common with the setting of the now-defunct Dragon Ball Online remains to be seen, but Bandai Namco is referring to Age 1000 as "new", so presumably, the devs are planning to deviate from Online at least a little.

We don't know much about the gameplay style of Xenoverse 3 yet, although if the previous two titles are anything to go by, it'll likely let you loose...
