Pragmata is finally here, and outside some rather uncomfortable conversations surrounding child-robot companion Diana, it seems to be a pretty massive hit. Despite being a completely new IP, the game is already going toe-to-toe with Capcom's best-rated games, like Resident Evil 4 and Requiem, and considering Resident Evil is an established series, that's pretty fantastic.
Not only is Pragmata's critical success impressive, it's also looking like its set up for impressive commercial success too. It's an incredibly strong start for Hugh and Diana, especially when Pragmata is a completely new IP for Capcom. It's just another sign that the developer can't do much wrong right now, as not only are games in established franchises knocking it out of the park, like Resident Evil Requiem and Monster Hunter Stories 3, but its gambles with completely new ideas are working too.
It looks like Pragmata continues Capcom's tradition of referencing other games.
It's an impressive thing for a developer like...
