Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced Trailer Footage Leaked

Gaming's worst kept secret finally got a confirmation, as Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced was officially announced yesterday by Ubisoft. A worldwide showcase is scheduled for April 23, but it seems screenshots and footage from the trailer have already been leaked. This is hardly surprising, considering how much information about the remake has leaked over the past few months.

Over on r/GamingLeaksAndRumours, someone has shared screenshots along with a ten-second clip from the trailer. Other posts have also showcased the same shots from the original version of the game to reveal how much better the visuals are in the Resynced version, and they look pretty good.

Among the leaked images are shots of Edward Kenway talking to Blackbeard, the pirate hiding in the shadows while stalking a kill, and one of him hanging off the Jackdaw while admiring the sights of the sea. The side-by-side comparison is perhaps the best example of how much the visuals have been improved.

The ten-second clip shows Kenway and the crew of the Jackdaw engaging in naval warfare with another ship, and the it looks absolutely stunning in modern fidelity. Unfortunately, all these leaks only feature cutscenes, so we still don't...
