Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced Won't Have Multiplayer Or Get Any DLC

Earlier this week, Ubisoft finally lifted the lid on probably the worst-kept secret in gaming, officially announcing Assassin's Creed: Black Flag Resynced, a complete remake of the original Black Flag with a bunch of added story content.

At the same time, it also promised that it would show off more of the game at its own special event later this week, but because Ubisoft can't keep a secret about this game to save its life, a bunch of stuff from that show has already leaked online. Not only have we already seen a snippet of the game's trailer, but it's also being reported that the original's vastly underrated multiplayer isn't being remade.

This is according to Insider Gaming, which has reported that Ubisoft will announce during the game's showcase that it will be a "pure story-driven adventure", as it was apparently decided that the multiplayer would be sacrificed in order to implement new story elements and single-player content.

Leave it to Ubisoft to refuse to take a moral stand.
