Japan has long been home to countless innovators in the gaming industry, with world-famous brands, publishers, and developers such as PlayStation, Nintendo, and Capcom having originated from the East Asian country.
Now, the legendary live-action and anime media company Toei, famous for producing the long-running Kamen Rider, Super Sentai, Power Rangers, Dragon Ball, and One Piece series, will finally begin to dive into video game development itself through the new game business brand Toei Games.

According to Toei's President and CEO, Fumio Yoshimura, the decision to create Toei Games is a part of the company's medium to long-term project called "Toei New Wave 2033" with the goal of delivering more stories to the entire world.
Yoshimura went on to clarify that, "We believe that our challenge in the game business, with the global market as our main battleground, is the embodiment of that vision."
