This War of Mine is a Generational Hit, But 11-bit Wants to 'Reimagine' It

Earnings call season is always an exciting time for fans, since these reports often harbor crucial details about upcoming titles, release windows, and – if we’re lucky – some major game announcements.

And this was exactly the case with 11 Bit Studios’ latest report. The Polish developer used the document not only to showcase their stable financial health but to reveal that they currently have four major projects in active development.

A Mix of Old and New

For starters, according to the report, the studio's financial situation remains good and “stable” at the moment. The data revealed that the sci-fi survival title The Alters has sold 545,000 copies, while the city-survival strategy epic Frostpunk 2 has reached approximately 880,000 copies sold.

That sounds pretty solid, and even the studio's leadership views both IPs as resounding successes. “The Alters showed that we can build new, global brands, and we are consistently developing Frostpunk as a long-term franchise," the CEO Przemysław Marszał stated.

On top of the sales figures, the report confirmed four games are currently in the works. Two of these are entirely new, unannounced IPs that the studio is keeping under wraps for now. However, the other two projects...
