The Brazilian Game Developers Association, known as Abragames, has announced its participation in Gamescom Latam 2026, focusing on showcasing Brazilian games and initiatives to position the country as a global hub for game development, both internally and as an international partner. This partnership is supported by Brazil Games and ApexBrasil, the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency.
Those attending Gamescom Latam 2026 will be able to play 36 Brazilian games at booths scattered throughout the event, with 14 from Abragames member studios and 22 from an Accelerator program. While every game showcases Brazil's unique blend of local culture and globally appreciated gameplay, a few titles stand out.
Among these are Starlit World, from Rockhead Studios, an action-adventure game focused on exploration to restore the world, as well as Kakele Online, a 2D MMORPG for both mobile and PC that has been active since 2020. One game in my spotlight is EDEN'S FRONTIER, an upcoming pixel art action RPG that even features a comic expanding its universe. These are just a few of the many games that all attendees of Gamescom Latam 2026 can experience.
