Restaurant Based On GTA's Cluckin' Bell Forced To Rebrand

A restaurant in London that was trying to copy Grand Theft Auto's KFC parody, Cluckin' Bell, has rebranded, likely after Rockstar and Take-Two saw the takeaway going viral.

If there's one thing that Rockstar and Take-Two Interactive have made very clear over the past few years, it's that they both don't take very kindly to anyone using their IP. Countless mods and ambitious fan projects have been taken down recently, letting everyone know that the GTA brand is off-limits unless it comes from Rockstar itself.

You'd think all of those takedowns would have made whoever decided to try and open a real-life Cluckin' Bell in London earlier this year think twice, but that apparently wasn't the case. The takeaway on Bolton Road went viral last month when fans spotted it, but Rockstar and Take-Two have clearly also caught on and forced some changes.
