The Last of Us Part 2 gave us the shock of our lives when it revealed just how bad Joel was at golf. You know what I mean. A character we had all grown attached to was brutally killed off, leaving a huge hole in our hearts, regardless of whether you're more fond of Pedro Pascal's portrayal of the character or Troy Baker's.
While both of them were great as Joel, and brought their own ideas to the character, Baker undoubtedly set a great baseline, along with the game's writers. Some fans will never really get over losing Joel, but Baker thinks that we may not have seen the last of him.
In a conversation with Eurogamer, Baker spoke about how he loved Pascal's portrayal of the character he once played and how great HBO's The Last of Us TV show eventually turned out to be. "The show is vastly larger, there is a lower barrier of entry," he said. He later added that he "loved" Pascal's portrayal.
