Just seven days separate us from the release of Saros, the next title from Housemarque following its release of Returnal in 2021. It'll be the first big-budget PlayStation first-party exclusive title of 2026, and the first since Ghost of Yotei from Sucker Punch last year.
Already, its Trophy list has managed to leak online, and by the looks of it, Saros will be a much longer game than Returnal, while also boasting some very on-the-nose Easter Eggs dedicated to Returnal, Housemarque's acquisition by PlayStation, as well as, oddly enough, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33.
The gap between Game Pass Ultimate and PS Plus Premium just got a lot smaller, leading to the latter receiving some flack.
Now, PlayStation and Housemarque have outlined the gameplay modifiers and accessibility options that will launch with Saros come next week, some of which should make the game decidedly easier, or at least easier compared to how difficult Returnal could be at times.
As Gregory London, Creative Director at Housemarque, outlined on the PlayStation Blog, "with Saros we set out to create a challenging and rewarding action game where every death is valuable. So prepare to die, but also come back stronger...
