After months of rumors, leaks, and teases, Ubisoft has finally officially revealed Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced, the remake of Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag, during a Worldwide Reveal Showcase.
Here, Edward Kenway actor Matt Ryan explained in detail the vast number of ways Ubisoft rebuilt and enhanced Black Flag's world, exploration, graphics, and gameplay for modern platforms, alongside several changes and new additions to the game.
Some of the most notable changes to Black Flag are to its ground combat, which is more akin to the parry-focused system seen in Assassin's Creed: Shadows, as well as to its supplementary content, with the removal of Black Flag's original PvP multiplayer and expansive Freedom Cry and Aveline DLCs.
While the removal of these features may upset fans, Ubisoft aims to rectify those absences by adding a ton of brand-new content to
Black Flag's world and story, which may be best represented by the addition of three new integral companions to Kenway's pirate crew.
