Assassin's Creed: Black Flag Resynced has finally been officially unveiled by Ubisoft, and while I consider myself pretty burnt out on the series at this point, I have to say that it looks pretty good. In the game's official showcase, we got to see all the game's new systems and revamped content, including changes to tailing missions, combat, and some of the new content that's being added.
However, before we got the game's official reveal, there were a few worries that the game may be a bit more RPG-focused, just like Ubisoft's more recent Assassin's Creed games like Valhalla and Odyssey. What with Black Flag Resynced being a remake of a beloved title, it's understandable that some were worried about Ubisoft changing it to suit the studio's more modern approach.
Thankfully, this doesn't seem to be the case. Ubisoft seemed to be very aware of all the fears that Black Flag Resynced would have more RPG elements, but has assured fans that this isn't the case. During the show, game director Richard Knight took a brief moment to shoot down all the rumors that the game would be an RPG, instead calling it a "solo, character driven adventure."
