First off, we got the official name of the game's next expansion, which will be titled Evercold. It's seemingly taking us to another shard, one that has been taken over by ice, and it will at least feature Alphinaud, Estinien, and our Warriors of Light. Not only that, but it has been announced that it will be launching in January 2027.
