Pearl Abyss has been releasing Crimson Desert patches at an impressive speed, adding a ton of highly-requested content such as additional permanent mounts, and they are showing no signs of slowing down.

Patch 1.04 has just been released, which adds birds to the list of animals you can tame as your pet, and changes the housing system in a major way.

Up until now, the house you receive in Crimson Desert lacked a real purpose other than being a cozy house-decorating mini-game, but now it's much more useful.

Crimson Desert Adds Major Housing System Improvements and More Pets

If you're the type of Greymane that prioritizes collecting pets rather than silver or better weapons, you'll be happy to hear that patch 1.04 has not only added five new types of cat pets, but you can now become a bird whisperer as well.

To gain trust with birds, you'll need to complete a quest to receive the newly added item, Sotdae of Bond, which will allow you to feed certain birds you encounter throughout Pywel.

The Sigil of Bonding item has also been added, which can be equipped on your cat to ensure it sits on your shoulder...
