Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream's physical edition is currently sold out pretty much everywhere in the US. It's the third time this year that the supply of a big new release's physical version has failed to meet demand, following in the footsteps of Resident Evil Requiem and Pokemon Pokopia.
Even though Living the Dream is already almost two weeks old, it's likely going to be a game that grows over time. Most Switch owners are probably unfamiliar with the original Tomodachi Life, and since Nintendo has made it intentionally difficult to share footage and screenshots from the latest installment in the series since you're basically allowed to do whatever you like, it's going to take a while before more casual gamers start to notice it and realize it might be for them.
Anyone noticing Living the Dream now, however, will have a hard time finding a copy of their own. The new Tomodachi Life's physical edition is currently sold out at Amazon, Walmart, and Best Buy. It appears to be in stock at GameStop, but with its popularity growing and every other major retailer out of stock, I can't imagine that will be the case for long.
