May 21 Should Be A Big Day For GTA 6 Fans With Take-Two’s Next Earnings Call

It's now been almost exactly a year since we received any substantial information about Grand Theft Auto 6. On May 6, 2025, 357 days ago, Rockstar dropped the game's second trailer just four days after it had delayed it. The trailer was accompanied by a website featuring dozens of new screenshots and details of the game's main cast, including dual protagonists Jason and Lucia. Since then, it's been radio silence, though.

That is likely all going to change within the next month, however, as Take-Two, the parent company of Rockstar, will release its fourth quarter and full-year fiscal 2026 results on Thursday, May 21, with a webcast scheduled for that same day. Here, the company will likely be forced to field questions about its hotly anticipated upcoming title.

Marketing for GTA 6 is miles behind GTA 5's, this close to release. With seven months until launch, provided there are no further delays, GTA 6 has received basically zero marketing. There's an argument that it doesn't really need any, but GTA 5 had tons. The media and press had gone hands-on with the game at this point, interviews with its director had taken place, and billboards could be found...
