Ten years later, I'm not sure any video game trailer has managed to get me quite as excited as the one Niantic used to reveal Pokemon Go. However, the trailer's grand finale still hasn't manifested in-game, but according to a recent datamine, it sounds like that might be about to change.
For those who have forgotten what happens in the Pokemon Go reveal trailer, which is likely since the game is about to turn ten, hundreds of trainers flood Times Square to catch a Mewtwo that's flying overhead. Yes, there are raids that require trainers to work together in Pokemon Go, but nothing quite on the same scale as what were shown at the end of that first trailer.
According to The Pokemod Group, we might finally get that, or something close to it, in Pokemon Go via a datamined discovery referred to as coordinated raids. The dataminer claims coordinated raids will add a new tier of raid unlike anything we've seen so far in Pokemon Go. They will require lots of trainers to take down incredibly powerful Pokemon by working togehter.
Those trainers will then need to use a special attack once the raid Pokemon's HP is low...
