Food has a key role to play in Baldur's Gate 3. You pick it up as you journey on, and use it to fuel your long rests so you're replenished and ready to go again afterwards. If you're like me, you probably don't put much thought into how you combine that food. Just get it up to 40 and continue, but perhaps an official Baldur's Gate 3 cookbook may change your approach.

I'm not talking about an in-game cookbook that will make your long rest meals more palatable to Karlach and the gang, but a real-life cookbook filled with recipes inspired by the game. Written by Andrew Wheeler and an officially licensed piece of Dungeons & Dragons merchandise, the Baldur's Gate 3 cookbook, A Feast for a Tenday, is available to pre-order on Amazon right now for $38.

The only recipe from the book shown off is the one on its cover, which appears to be a meatball-based dish. However, the store page description reveals the names of some of the 65 recipes inside, allowing fans of the game to let their imaginations run wild, picturing how the meals might look once they get the opportunity to cook...
