Baldur's Gate 3's Console Version Just Got A New Race, A Fan-Favorite Subrace, And A Weave Monk Subclass

What a bumper week for Baldur's Gate 3's console players. Just seven days ago, Larian vetted, approved, and added 15 new pieces of content, including new subraces and the ability to turn Shadowheart into a cat (which followed not long after a mod that allowed you to turn her into a werewolf).

Now, just a week on from the last drop, 18 more mods have been added to the Baldur's Gate 3 console version, including a new race, a 5e subrace, and a Weave Monk subclass.

I've given up trying to rationalize the frequency at which Larian is adding content to Baldur's Gate 3's console edition. Last year, mods were dropping almost weekly, but it then slowed to biweekly at best for the first few months of 2026. I theorized that this was because focus had shifted to Divinity.

To the joy of console players, Larian has laughed in my face, with today's new drop, the fourth for this month, seemingly spelling a return to weekly drops. Who's to say, really?
