New Clive Barker's Hellraiser: Revival Dev Diary Shows Off Terrifying Cenobites | TechRaptor

Developer and publisher Saber Interactive has released a brand new dev diary for upcoming horror game Clive Barker's Hellraiser: Revival, in which the studio shows off its rendering of the undeniably creepy Cenobites in the game.

First announced back in July last year, Hellraiser: Revival is the first single-player horror game based on the iconic series, and if there's one thing Saber had to get right, it was the Cenobites and their leader Pinhead.

The new dev diary certainly starts off on the right foot; it begins with an introduction to Pinhead and the Cenobites by none other than Doug Bradley, who's played the legendary character across several Hellraiser movies, as well as appearances in other media like asymmetrical multiplayer game Dead by Daylight.

In the dev diary, Saber says that it tried to return to a "more monastic" interpretation of Pinhead, one that interprets the character as someone who's "searching for enlightenment through sensation", which sounds pretty faithful to the original Hellraiser media.

Of course, Pinhead isn't the only Cenobite who's appearing in Hellraiser: Revival, and so the dev diary talks about Chatterer, Butterball, and the Female Cenobite as well. If you're a Hellraiser fan, it looks like...
