Atomfall TV Show in the Works from Two Brothers Pictures | TechRaptor

Rebellion and production company Two Brothers Pictures have announced that Atomfall is getting a TV show adaptation, and that it'll be worked on by a producer-writer duo who've worked on the likes of Fleabag and Assassin.

As reported by Eurogamer, the Atomfall TV show will be written by Harry and Jack Williams, whose previous credits include the aforementioned shows, as well as Baptiste and The Missing. Executive producer Alex Mercer, meanwhile, has worked on shows like Doctor Who and Maya.

The Williams brothers say that adapting Atomfall's "distinctive British tone and setting" for TV has been "a real joy", and that they're excited about "expanding this strange, unsettling story for television". Rebellion heads Jason and Chris Kingsley, meanwhile, say they're "delighted" by the partnership.

We don't yet know whether the Atomfall TV show will be directly adapting the story of the game or whether it'll choose to tell a more character-centric story; after all, the game is a rather freeform experience that involves organic exploration and discovery, which is a trickier proposition for a show with a linear narrative.
