Star Wars: Galactic Racer Release Date Officially Revealed for October | TechRaptor

Developer Fuse Games and publisher Secret Mode have announced the Star Wars: Galactic Racer release date, and it turns out those leaks you might have seen earlier this week were right on the money.

A few days ago, a release date of October 6th was mistakenly revealed via the Galactic Racer Steam page, and now, the two studios have confirmed that that's exactly when you can expect the podracing sim to arrive on PC and consoles.

Pre-orders for the game are open now via the official website, and if you do decide to drop some cash on Star Wars: Galactic Racer before its release, you can expect to receive bonus goodies, with more coming your way depending on which edition you pick up (naturally).

Fuse and Secret Mode describe Galactic Racer as a "high-stakes reinventiuon of racing born in the lawless Outer Rim of the Star Wars galaxy". It's a podracing title that focuses on an "unsanctioned racing circuit" rife not only with opportunities for fame and fortune, but also with crime and underhanded dealings.
