Invincible VS Debuts To Strong Review Scores Ahead Of Today's Release

Invincible is finally about to make its first proper splash in the video game world, and it's doing it in fighting game form. Invincible VS will be released on PC and consoles later today, and its reviews paint a promising picture for Invincible fans, fighting game fans, but most of all, those with a foot in both worlds.

Invincible VS currently has a 79 on OpenCritic. No, not enough to have it breathing the rarified air that the likes of Saros and Pokopia, but it was never going to score as highly as that. 79 is a pretty great score for a game that is not only trying to adapt a very popular comic book and TV show, but it's doing so in a genre that, before Invincible VS was announced, most people likely weren't expecting.

There's also every chance that score keeps ticking up as more reviews are published.
