Capcom Is Already Thinking About Turning Pragmata Into A Franchise

As if Capcom didn't already kill it with Resident Evil Requiem, it has gone two for two this year with Pragmata. The game launched to great critical and fan reviews, and even managed to sell a million copies in two days. What's more? It's already competing with the likes of Resident Evil 4 to become one of Capcom's highest rated games of all time.

With this success, Capcom must definitely be having conversations about the future of the IP. Sure, the game spent a lot of time in development, but now that it's out, the developers are surely thinking of a sequel. But the big question is, does Capcom have another money-making IP on its hands? Capcom USA COO, Rob Dyer, certainly seems to think so.

As pointed out by Game File, Dyer, who was at the recent iicon gaming event, said, "We’re to a point now where we’ve got another IP that Capcom – and god bless them, has an arsenal – that we can continue to go down." With Resident Evil already in the chamber, Pragmata is a great IP to have in reserve.
