Multiple PlayStation Titles Reportedly Failed To Sell 1 Million Copies On PC

Back in February, reliable insiders reported that Sony was preparing to stop releasing its one-time PlayStation exclusive titles on PC, a move that would push the video games back to being exclusive to PlayStation hardware. The shift in strategy wouldn't preclude live-service titles, but would impact the likes of Saros or Marvel's Wolverine, single-player titles.

The shift reportedly resulted in a port for Ghost of Yotei being scrapped.

At the time, it was suggested by insiders that it had to do with the upcoming release of the Steam Machine, the fact that Xbox's next console, Project Helix, will have some sort of PC functionality, or because of poor sales.

A recent Bloomberg report suggests that PlayStation games are no longer coming to PC.

Though Sony has yet to confirm one way or the other, it appears that poor sales might be the ultimate reason why the PlayStation to PC pipeline is seemingly no longer a thing.

As first spotted by Push Square, The Game Business recently reported launch month sales data for several PlayStation titles on PC, and the numbers are poor.
