More Rockstar Games Remasters Could Be On The Way

As excited as the entire gaming world is for the long-awaited release of Grand Theft Auto 6, which, by the way, has essentially been confirmed to still release on its scheduled date of November 19, a recent job listing at Rockstar Games involving "classic" games has everyone's minds thinking about what could be.

That's because the Rockstar Games of old were more than just a Grand Theft Auto machine; there was Max Payne 3, L.A. Noire, Midnight Club, Table Tennis, The Warriors, Manhunt and Bully, many of which are not on modern hardware. Oh, and of course, Grand Theft Auto IV. Also, not on modern hardware.

I know it’s a pipe dream, but it’s MY pipe dream.

However, the job listing, as exciting as it is, might be a nothingburger.

Over on Rockstar Games' career site, Rockstar Australia is looking for a Senior Gameplay Programmer. The job specifics are pretty formulaic, but the one thing that caught the eye of sleuthy Internet folks is this little bit:

"Rockstar is on the lookout for a talented Senior Gameplay Programmer with a passion for game development. You will be working as part of a small but experienced team, ideally taking responsibility...
