There's An Upcoming Indie That Makes You Fight Unplayed Games From Your Backlog

Have you ever had that nightmare where your gaming backlog comes to life and fights you as retribution for spending so much money on games that you knew, deep down, you were never going to play? Whether you have or not, one solo developer has made that nightmare a reality by creating a game where the goal is to fight off the games you barely play as they try to defeat you.

It's called Game Quest: The Backlog Battler, it's developed by Nic Taylor, and it's launching this year in early access. It will be exclusively available on Steam, not only because it's a lot easier for indie devs to stick to one platform, and for that platform to be Steam, but because that is the place where we're all the most guilty of buying games and then never playing them.

It's not the unplayed games that are going to hurt you the most in Game Quest; it's the ones that you bought and then barely played at all. Any games in your Steam library that you have played, but for less than two hours, will attack you in waves. You'll be armed with weapons to take them down, but...
