Crimson Desert's Recent Updates Were Not Planned But "Based On Feedback"

Say what you want about Crimson Desert as a game, but you can't deny that developer Pearl Abyss has absolutely smashed it with the updates. Whether it's fixing issues or adding new content, the devs have been pushing out updates like hotcakes. In fact, fans have now been telling the studio to chill out and take a well-deserved break.

With the team working as such a well oiled machine, you'd think that they already had all these updates ready in the back end, pushing them out when required. While that's probably true for some of the new content, Pearl Abyss PR lead Will Powers says that they have been implemented in real-time, based on player feedback.

In a conversation with The Washington Post, Powers revealed that the studio didn't set up a content or update roadmap like most other devs do. It's common practice to patch a game with some polish or missing features after launch, but Crimson Desert apparently has no "official communicated roadmap with set-in-stone dates."
