Dragon Age: The Veilguard Will Be Native To Steam

If you're a big PC gamer and also a fan of Dragon Age, Mass Effect, Battlefield, or any of EA's big franchises, chances are you'll have run into problems with the EA App at some point. It's a launcher that you're required to download and use to play pretty much all the publisher's games, but it's caused no small amount of headaches since its introduction due to how difficult it is to navigate, how glitchy it can be, and how it can make even booting up games a hassle. Dragon Age: Origins is already a pain to get running as it is.

Thankfully, Dragon Age fans don't have to put up with it for much longer, as BioWare recently revealed that Dragon Age: The Veilguard will be native to Steam and won't require players to download the EA App alongside it. That means if you buy the game on Steam, you play the game on Steam, and there won't be unnecessary barriers getting in the way of your good time.
