Xbox Might Want To Rethink Its Exclusivity Approach As Halo Shoots Up The PS5 Pre-Order Charts

After committing to putting its first-party games on other platforms, Xbox has performed a U-turn and will keep some of its biggest games to itself from now on, at least when it comes to consoles. However, the way Halo: Campaign Evolved is selling on PS5, it might want to rethink that strategy and correct course.

The Halo remake had already been confirmed for PS5 before the recent change of heart from Xbox on future exclusives. Big money deals are in place, and promises have been made. There's no going back. When Campaign Evolved releases on July 23, Master Chief will be making his PlayStation debut, whether Xbox likes it or not.

Based on the current state of the PS5 pre-order charts, PlayStation owners are very excited about Halo's imminent arrival. Campaign Evolved's premium edition, the more expensive pre-order option, is currently the fifth best-selling game on the pre-order chart. The only titles selling better are Marvel's Wolverine, Madden NFL 27, College Football 27, and Modern Warfare 4.
