After 6 Months of ‘Blood, Sweat and Tears,’ Elden Ring Movie Finishes Filming

Adapting an entire video game universe into a live-action feature movie is always a double-edged sword. Fans are naturally equal parts hyped and terrified whenever Hollywood sets its sights on a beloved IP, especially when that IP is FromSoftware's dark fantasy masterpiece, Elden Ring.

Bringing the vast, lore-dense vistas of the Lands Between to the big screen sounds like an incredible undertaking. However, it seems that director Alex Garland and acclaimed studio A24 have somehow managed to cross the finish line, as recent behind-the-scenes updates confirm that production has officially wrapped – well, at least for the art and props department.

Six Months of Crafting the Lands Between

The big milestone came directly from Sean Schofield, a member of the movie's art and props department, who recently took to Instagram to share an update on the project's progress.

In a post showcasing a special A24 swag bag handed out to the production team, Schofield revealed that filming had wrapped after half a year of relentless physical and creative work on set.
