If you're feeling bummed out about Gun Media's The Texas Chain Saw Massacre video game exiting Game Pass next week on August 15, then know that the studio isn't ruling out a return to the video game subscription service. In a statement provided to GameSpot, Wes Keltner, the CEO, designer, and director at Gun Media, thanked players, as well as Microsoft for helping make the game a success. He also hinted at a potential return down the line.

The Game Pass price hike is bad enough, but the new Standard plan offers less and costs more.

For the uninitiated, The Texas Chain Saw Massacre is a survival horror video game based off the movie of the same name. It takes inspiration from the likes of Dead by Daylight, with an asymmetrical gameplay style that invites players to step into the role of a survivor or killer.
