A reliable Killer Klowns from Outer Space dataminer and news source has revealed that the game planned to include crossovers with Dead Rising, Twisted Metal, and Spawn.
As great as Dead by Daylight is, it’s fair to say that it’s caused a pretty big problem in the world of horror games, as nearly every property wants a slice of its sweet asymmetrical multiplayer pie. Sadly, even if they’re as good as The Texas Chain Saw Massacre, they can never really keep up and always end in the same barely functional, online only state.
Killer Klowns from Outer Space might not be as recognisable as Texas, but it’s another great example of a really good online game that has sadly been on its deathbed for a while. It was already a shame since it’s a genuinely great multiplayer experience, but it’s even more depressing now that we know what developer IllFonic had planned.
